Commissioning of CKRM SG Church and Formation of CKRM International
By God’s grace, the commissioning of CKRM SG Church on Sunday October 11, 2015 was a glorious occasion. The manifest presence of God was very evident as we gathered to yield ourselves to Him and allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in us. The inaugural meeting was indeed a great blessing to all who attended. This church will be an end-time church for Jesus Christ. Many who are drawn to CKRM SG Church are mature English-speaking believers who want more of God so that they can move mightily in the power and love of God to bless others. God is calling them to be radical believers to impact the spiritual realm with an atmosphere of faith so that the glory of God will be present to transform lives. Indeed, many lives were changed and will be changed. Hallelujah! God’s purpose for this church is to confirm His word with the working of the Holy Spirit so that faith will rise up among the hearers. A glorious 'walk-the-talk' Church with the Lord confirming His word with 'signs' accompanying - this Church will prepare the unblemished bride, cleansed and purified by the Fire of God (Matthew 3:11-12, Zechariah 13:9, Malachi 3:2-4) for the Lord's 2nd coming. The meeting was also attended by our adviser Bro Tan KJ, a good friend of mine. Together with our three Church Elders, they have stood faithfully with us from the beginning of our ministries through 'thick & thin'. Their steadfast support and encouragement had inspired us to set up this 'unique and radical' ministry. Our Adviser is a leader of Grace Methodist Church which I was baptised. He came as a friend and in his personal capacity to join us in commissioning and dedicating the Church with Holy Communion. A renewed sense of purpose and empowerment were received as we consecrated ourselves afresh for the next stage of our ministry development. “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it…” (Psalm 127:1a). The formation of this church was undergirded by much prayer on the direction of the ministry by the two founding Pastors, three elders and intercessors of the Ministry. I am pleased to attach a photo of the key leaders taken at our inaugural meeting.
With the formation of CKRM SG Church in Singapore and CKRM International, there is a need to clearly define the relationship of the various entities in CKRM. With immediate effect, CKRM SG Church and CKRM Petaling Jaya (PJ) will be part of CKRM International. We affirmed that Ps Hephzibah and her husband, Ps Liam will continue to lead CKRM PJ. We thank God for this godly couple who are serving the ministry with dedication and commitment and we entrust the ministry to them. They are indeed God's chosen vessels for His work together with her team. With these new developments and also to enhance the effectiveness of CKRM Council team in PJ which was set up about 3 years ago, we will take this opportunity to reconstitute the Council. Over the years, some council members have their own commitments and could not commit their time to our PJ ministry and prayer meetings. We will dissolve the present PJ Council with immediate effect to allow Ps Hephzibah to set up the new PJ Council to advance God’s Kingdom in PJ and beyond. We will pray with Ps Hephzibah for God’s wisdom and guidance to be upon her as she forms the new council. We pray that selfless, committed, God-fearing and spirit-filled believers will be drawn to the leadership team to His ministry in CKRM PJ. It is a new season, and we trust that God’s purpose will prevail in our midst. It is a delicate situation especially in appointing leaders in ministry and we seek your prayer and understanding as we seek the Lord for His choice. We want to thank all who had served in the PJ Council for your contributions and we pray that you will continue to support the CKRM Ministry wherever God has placed you.
