"The Leaves will eventually fall back to its root."
As an overseas missionary of Open Heaven 611 Bread of Life Church, my senior pastor Rev Dr Elisha (Henry) Chieng said I am a 不倒翁, cannot fall because I am standing on the rock of ages. Dr Ernest Chan burst into laughter when I shared it with him yesterday. (Henry was the previous Dean of Agape Malaysia, a school wholly owned by ARC California). By His grace, the Lord gives me the strength and perseverance to be different and to stand with the extremely rare minorities to run the race with this 'radical' calling modeling after the disciples of Jesus who were privileged to carry the cross, leaving everything behind to follow Him (Matthew 19:29) is because I discover that a 'radical' Christian is a true-breed Christian who moves in power as in the book of Acts. On 23rd November 2014, we were invited to minister at the Sunday service ofIrvin Agape Christian Church. The Church is under the spiritual covering of Dr Ernest Chan's ARC.
Most of the students are now reverend, with some now serving the Lord at ARC, in Walnut, California or at their overseas seminaries.
Rev Chen and his wife came to visit us yesterday at my daughter's home. He told me that there are many awesome testimonies of our ministry in his church. He shared that the things that amazed him was that I did not pray, but the words I spoke from the pulpit shook the audiences, who were mostly new believers; some trembled uncontrollably while listening to my sharing. Trembling is God's sign when a word is spoken by a man of God who is full of the Spirit. Otherwise, the word is just a dead letter. Mark 16:20 says that God confirms His word by the signs that accompanies it. God spoke to Moses, "I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abrahim, Isaac and Jacob." Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look" (Acts 7:32, Hebrews 12:21). Moses, Apostle Paul, Peter, and some of the rare present day 'radical' saints that God is now using, were and are willing to pay the price for their physical bodies to host His Manifest Presence, that people can see that awesome difference needed to produce tremendous good fruit and draw the hearts of the people back to the first love - Jesus. Being the weird difference, there is no half way - either they are warmly accepted by believers, who are filled with the fullness of God's love, or coldly rejected by lukewarm believers, who are still attracted to worldly things. We are living in the last days and God is giving us a spiritual awakening that, as Christians, we are aliens and citizens of the eternal Kingdom of God. This world is not our home. As Stephen Covey proclaimed, "We are not human beings having s spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience." Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 says that when the silver cord is severed, our physical body will turn to dust and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
